Hi, I'm Sharon and welcome to my little corner of internet.

I've created this space to be able to show you what I am up to arty/crafty wise. There will be photos and ramblings of my journeys and discoveries into new and unexplored territories.

Having been the eternal student, constantly learning  and developing my techniques and understanding about all things arty/crafty, I find myself on a Foundation Fine Art Degree...........

What have I done?????

As previously mentioned, I've learnt a lot of stuff about a lot of things.

Starting back in 1992, I did a BTEC Nationa Diploma in Art & Design, specializing in textiles. The love of textiles and texture has been a continuing theme throughout my work since then.

I've done courses on:

Indigo dyeing,

Warm Glass Making,

Pottery,

Felt Making,

Life Drawing,

Photography,

Various Embroidery classes,

Procion Dyeing

and the list goes on....

But at the end of the day it always comes back to colour and texture.

Well, who knows what that holds??

But one thing is sure, it involves paint, texture, colour and nature.
